Tiles NYC.com is a free, independent directory of tile stores in New York City. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, how it’s used, and what choices you have.

TilesNYC does not require you to create an account or log in. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details to use the site. There is no newsletter and no mailing list.
You can browse every store listing, read every guide, and use every filter on this site without sharing any personal information with us.

This site uses no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Microsoft Clarity, no session recording and no advertising pixel, and nothing here follows you to another site. If that changes, this page changes first.

This site sets no cookies. Nothing here needs to remember you between visits, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner asking you to.

If you reach out to us through the contact page, we’ll receive whatever information you include in your message. We use that information only to respond to your question. We don’t add you to any list, share your details with third parties, or use your message for any purpose beyond answering it.
Two services handle a submission. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the sender is a person rather than a bot, which means it sees your IP address at the moment you submit. Resend delivers the message as email. Nothing you type is saved to a database on this site; the email is the only copy.

Store profile pages link out to the websites, social media profiles, and Google Maps listings of individual tile stores. Store pages also embed a Google Map, which loads from Google and is subject to Google’s own privacy terms. Once you leave TilesNYC, this privacy policy no longer applies. Each external site has its own privacy practices, which we have no control over.

TilesNYC is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

If we make any meaningful changes to this privacy policy, we’ll update the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
